2020 Convention

Date: 7-9 May 2020
Location: Harriman Institute, Columbia University, New York City, NY

The Annual World Convention of the Association for the Study of Nationalities is one of the largest academic conventions on issues of nationalism, ethnicity, violence, conflict, economic development, history and politics in the Balkans, Central Europe, Russia, Ukraine, the Caucasus, and Eurasia (including Turkey and China). Every year, the convention draws over 800 scholars, doctoral candidates, policy analysts and NGO practitioners from around the world to examine and push forward research on these and many other related themes. At the convention, we offer a number of opportunities for organizations and companies to reach convention attendees and educate them about their programs and products.

We currently are inviting publishers whose catalogs include works on topics related to our convention agenda to display their works at the convention's book exhibit, which will be held from May 2-4, 2019. The exhibit tables will be located in a venue directly next to the registration desk and convention cafĂ©.

Advertising space is also available in the convention program, which will be distributed to all convention attendees.

Those who choose both to exhibit at the convention and advertise in ASN's program will receive a 10% discount on program advertising.

Due to space limitations, we encourage reserving exhibit tables early. Please contact Ryan Kreider at [email protected] to receive rates and other details.
