Discussant Proposal

Applicants not included on another proposal (paper proposal, panel proposal, roundtable proposal, film proposal, book panel proposal) can submit a separate proposal to serve as a discussant on a panel. A discussant offers a constructive critique of the written papers at the end of all presentations on a panel.

To submit a discussant proposal, fill out an discussant proposal form and send it by attachment to [email protected] and [email protected]. The form includes the applicant’s coordinates, areas of expertise and a 100 word biographical statement. To be eligible to serve as a discussant, an applicant must either be a PhD student or hold a PhD.

A Fact Sheet must also be filled out online.
