Jelena Subotić is Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University in Atlanta. She received her PhD in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. She is the author of two books: Yellow Star, Red Star: Holocaust Remembrance after Communism (Cornell University Press, 2019) and Hijacked Justice: Dealing with the Past in the Balkans (Cornell University Press, 2009) as well as numerous scholarly articles on identity politics, national identity, and the Western Balkans.
