A panel of dedicated and passionate scholars presents the ASN Documentary Film Festival Award.  The ASN Documentary Film Festival Award recognizes a film that makes a special contribution to the field of Nationalities Studies broadly defined, furthers our understanding of complex issues at stake and could potentially be integrated into teaching and instruction. Following film screenings at the convention, the award is announced at the closing reception.
