Soeren Keil is Reader in Politics and International Relations at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. His research interests include federalism, conflict resolution, EU integration and the Western Balkans. He is the author and editor of multiple books, most recently, ‘Power-Sharing in Europe – Past Practice, Present Cases and Future Directions” (with Allison McCulloch, Palgrave 2021). Since 2016, he has been regularly called upon as an expert on federalism and democratization in Myanmar, working for several governmental and non-governmental organisations. His new book, titled “Federalism and Conflict Resolution” is forthcoming later in 2021 (co-authored with Paul Anderson).
