Emil Kerenji

Emil Kerenji is a historian of Eastern European Jewish history, with specialization in World War II, the Holocaust, and its aftermath in Yugoslavia. He is a researcher at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, where he has authored and co-authored several source volumes in the Museum’s book series, Jewish Responses to Persecution, 1933-1946. He also created, with Leah Wolfson, experiencinghistory.com, the Museum’s tool for teaching the Holocaust and related topics with primary sources in a college classroom.
