Russian Invasion and Internal Displacement: Emerging IDP issues within Ukraine

While the world’s attention is understandably drawn to the millions of Ukrainians who have crossed international borders in recent days, a second exodus is taking place within the borders of Ukraine. Join us for a session discussing issues relating to how the Russian invasion has generated flows of IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) within Ukraine, where we will discuss what is known, and unknown about patterns and level of internal displacement, the options and strategies for destination selection, impacts on displacement destinations, and what resources are needed to meet the humanitarian challenges associated with mass displacement in Ukraine.
